Sometimes I think that people show attitude to those who have nothing in common. In four years of my university life, I have realized that teachers have some big problem. I couldn’t understand that why they show attitude to us even we have nothing in common. We know that they are senior to us and they know more so how can we compare ourselves with them. We just want to learn what they have. For example, one of my teachers has a different kind of attitude. He had faced a very difficult life and he always keeps the distance from students. In his class, I learned “fear”. I am always afraid of his sarcastic remarks which he passes on every student and psychologically speaking this fear hinders my learning. His difficulties in life were not because of us so why he always pretend that he knows more!!!!! Now I don’t want to attend his class because I can’t produce better even if I try my best.
The other thing which I noticed that teachers want everyone to get everything quickly (they don’t like to repeat things). Every student has a different caliber, no one is equal. Some gets quickly and some needs more explanation. We are here to learn things, if we know it before then why we bothered to come here? Teachers should know that all students dint come from the same background. Every person needs attention. Otherwise ignorance will cause the psychological problems which will affect the learning and students will think that they can’t compete with others. So attitude matters a lot!
